Social enterprise: what's love got to do with it?

If being loved and loving others are the things that make the biggest possible difference to the well-being of individuals and communities, then what would love-based enterprises and institutions look like?

At this discussion-based, interactive breakfast, Steve Coles will give an overview of Intentionality CIC’s research into the role of love in social enterprises.

We'll discuss questions including: "Is love really ‘all you need’?" and "Why do we affirm pop culture beliefs about love, but then ignore them in our workplaces?"

Come along with ideas, thoughts, experiences and counter-arguments and be ready to get idealistic, innovative and inspired.

Steve Coles is the founder and Managing Director of Intentionality CIC, a social enterprise and well-being consultancy, which specialises in social impact measurement. Intentionality works with about 100 social enterprises a year helping them understand, measure and report their impact. Steve was formerly the Social Enterprise Development Manager for The Salvation Army across the UK. He has held various trustee and advisory roles, is a Non-Exec Director of Justlife CIC, as well being a member of the Social Enterprise UK Council, a Fellow of the RSA and a member of the Fellowship Council.

Teas and coffees will be available at £1.50 each. You can purchase toast etc from the Gerard bar.
